Aashram Students
At our Kabita Bhawan (Radhanagar, Krishnanagar,West Bengal), we have number of distressed young tribal children who are staying and regularly learning various folk music, arts & crafts of Bengal as well as going to school for their normal education to earn livelihood in near future.
We also take care of 175 students of different castes outside of Aashram.
We welcome all people in India and abroad to sponsor each child by donating INR 1000.00(US $20) per month for their lodging and accommodation, education & other cultural activities. We will appreciate a yearly payment to ensure stability for the welfare of a child.
Distressed Women/Retired Artist
Dishari has been fighting against all odds to preserve and develop the folk culture of West Bengal artists, and lend a friendly hand of help towards distressed women, deprived veteran artists.
We welcome all people in India and abroad to sponsor each Women/Folk artist by donating INR 2000.00(US $40) per month for their livelihood. A yearly payment is requested to ensure stability for the welfare of one artist.
