Professional Musical Groups
Through these groups, many talented folk artists from Bengal and beyond get the opportunity to preserve, showcase, and revive their cultural heritage. They also become self-reliant.
ACHIN PAKHI
A musical group for Bengali folk songs.
JHUMURIYA
A Jhumar song, Jhumur dance, and Dhamsha-Madal fusion group from Nadia, West Bengal.
BENSHE
A traditional dance troupe from Bengal who perform the Raibenshe dance.
KABITA BHAWAN
Kabita Bhawan has been a refuge for many artists in Bengal. In this building, artists can rest, practice, and do research work. When all doors are closed to a weary traveler, they find shelter here.
The most notable feature of this building is that any person who cannot afford to rent a place for their event can use this space.
